I’m a Foot Health Practitioner offering friendly, compassionate home-visiting footcare in and around Slough.
At Helping Hands Footcare, my aim is to make looking after your feet a comfortable, reassuring and positive experience. Whether you need support with routine footcare, have difficulty maintaining your own foot health, or simply fancy a little pampering, I’m here to help. I believe everyone deserves to feel comfortable, confident and cared for, one step at a time.
My footcare journey began in 2017 within the NHS, where I completed a two-year on-the-job training programme as a Podiatry Assistant. This gave me a valuable foundation in clinical footcare and patient support.
I then joined Age Concern, providing a home-visiting nail-cutting service, whilst continuing to expand my knowledge through further study. In 2022, I achieved my Level 3 Foot Health Practitioner qualification.
In 2023, I joined a private podiatry clinic in Windsor as a Podiatry Surgical Assistant. Working within a clinical environment has enabled me to further develop my practical skills and knowledge, including nail care, biomechanics, diabetic footcare safety and the importance of maintaining high standards of patient care.
I am continuing my professional development and working towards achieving my Level 4 Foot Health Practitioner qualification in 2027, further strengthening my knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care to my clients.
Before beginning my career in footcare, I spent several years working in footwear retail. I trained as a children’s shoe fitter with Clarks, becoming a team leader within the children’s department and later a stand-in assistant manager across two stores.
This experience gave me a strong understanding of footwear, foot types and the common problems associated with poorly fitting shoes — knowledge that continues to complement my footcare practice today.

Helping Hands Footcare provides routine foot health care delivered by a Foot Health Practitioner (FHP), not an HCPC-registered Podiatrist or Chiropodist. Services are provided within the practitioner’s training, competence and scope of practice. Where specialist podiatry or medical assessment is required, clients will be advised to seek appropriate professional care.
